foreplay:

*     my family vacated Jersey about 15 years ago when Jeresy was metropolizing faster than a speeding ticket and they all opted for the once black and white rural life they were accustomed to of yesterday. and so northern florida from that time on has been considered 'home". of course, my choice was to steer clear of family riff-raff, run the other way and press on with wherever, whatever and whOever I could sink myself into.
     it's been a few years since I've visited and evidently they've made the right locale pick as nothing's changed down that way 'cept everyone's catching up with the age of dirt and that town is still unincorporated, hammered by giant bugs, sock theives, ungodly humidity and is in the middle of uncivilEYEzation. I brought along my camera.

*     on my way to visit one of my brothers, I rounded a dirtcurve and was halted by a man roping a run-a-way monster by the neck. it seemed safe enough now that he had the animal contained, so I got outta my van and asked: "hey buddy, can I get a shot of that cow?" and he said: "this ain't no cow lady, it's a bull!" "oOoo,..." I said, "...I didn't get a good look at those things down there." hence, I grabbed a shot.
     the man introduced the bull as "baby" and called himself jamie. he seemed tame enough ("baby", I mean) so, I trusted his judgement with certain events that followed.

*     along with the family visit, I've also been to a several poetry reads and slams. I've posted a few here and the rest will gradually be added to my personal website - eventually - soon - I'm workin' on it - it's under destruction at the moment - don't go there - you'll be sorry you did - I'll send morse code secrets out when it's complete.blah blah blah. heh.

*     now those that know me well, are aquainted with some of my outrageous antics and for those that don't (and those that do), this little site is a compilation of some of the places and the crazy times I've had on various occasions throughout the summer...pictures speak louder than a big mouth...please allow time for pages to load - graphic intense and have fun, meRry X XXmas and haPpy everthing, in case I'm on another vacation at any of those times....(WHAT?) oknowshutmeup.
